The FBI wanted access to the actual phone in San Bernardino that is different from an iCloud account. They want access to Stones iCloud not his phone this is not the same thing.

It is apples to oranges, but the propagandist JJbot doesn’t care. Most posters saw his title, expressed their generic outrage and went about their day thinking his headline was true.

It’s getting rampant with him and he seemingly has a free pass from ownership

Bc information in the iCloud is housed on their servers... e.g. they have it

Information on your phone, protected by the passcode is not in their possession and the feds tried to get them to create a backdoor into their own software to break the pass code.

Same things as the information living in a safety deposit box at the bank or being in a safe inside of someone’s home. The bank has direct access to what’s in the box, but they don’t to the safe.

Guaranteed to get downvotes for breaking it to the mouth breathing, staunch Trump supporters that refuse to look at things objectively that they are two completely different scenarios.

The Icloud is for my use and my privacy. They should not be allowed to let others into my cloud....

Get off of my cloud

Bring on the down votes

Guarantee if you read the user agreement, it states in there that anything housed on the cloud is subject to legal inquiries.

Don’t like it, don’t put anything on a companies cloud.

Again, my analogy of the safety deposit box and a safe is spot on.

Then don’t put information on servers you don’t own

And you think this is good. I do not use it. I am sure these same folks can find a way to peruse my home pc. They want permission to make it legal to use what they find.

And where did I say it was good? Nowhere.

Sorry that I know the difference between something being securely housed on a private device and something being house on a companies property that is subject to federal laws... Or the fact that I know the difference between the two scenarios and how they aren’t even close to the same thing.
