Still too many people watching
We need to continue to shame them and step up the boycott of the Anti-America scum. Down with the NFL, NBA and MLB!

Some of the rating has to be because off the other sports still in mid playoffs.

I haven’t watched a minute and will not unless their stance drastically changes. I’m actually enjoying it.

Sports are supposed to be a distraction.

Apparently the NFL is taking a ratings loss
That's just the Falcons franchise tanking into reorganization...

bread and circuses updated
Maybe in a few years the NFL will find imaginative ways to kill some second stringers.

All long as they are cheerleaders for that BLM crap then I hope they lose most viewers. Piss on them.

Every game this past week was down in viewership.
It was a beautiful day outside. I took my dog for a walk in the mountains and enjoyed the leaves changing.

It's just not that interesting to watch sports on TV without fans in the stands.
That’s not it, Jethro. The fans who are not in the stands should be inflating the TV numbers. I don’t know what it’s like to watch a game without fans in the stands, because I have NOT WATCHED ONE!

Get woke, go broke. Sayonara NFL.

They would be lower than that if that leftist Sir Winston would stopped watching.
No discipline.

I was working a cleanup project at the kids’ school on Saturday, and tuned into Gameday on the Sirius app... and sure enough, almost instantly, I was greeted with social justice, so I just turned it off. It’s like they have no clue who watches (or listens to) sports. Tip: it’s not the blue haired face tattoo my little pony boys laying down in the street...

They'll blame it on something other than wokeness and continue to insert their collective heads further and further in the sand.

It was to be expected. People are tired of politics trickling into every facet of life. When politics infects leisure, many people sign off. Including myself.
We still have to attribute part of the ratings decline to several sports airing at once; for instance, who wants to watch the NBA playoffs in October? Plus, the times are crazy with a tense election on the horizon and a pandemic placing tens of millions of Americans under financial strain.
Ultimately, ratings for pro sports will be down for the next few years, and the NFL may never recover. People are tired of the NFL. The drama surrounding concussions, politics, and athletes getting into trouble off the field (i.e. criminal matters) turn people off. They make too much money for a consistent number of regular, hardworking people to want to watch them play and swallow their drama supplement.

This. You can't even watch the weather for info on hurricanes w/o somebody injecting "climate change."
