Would be nice to finally see some proof. Isn't the burden of proof on the accuser? Does our legal system still work this way, or did Trump sign an EO changing this?

Yall do realize Trump's claims are based off of anonymous sources, at best. Technically they're based off no source, atm, since he hasn't provided any.

He probably learned about it from the media at the same time we did.

He couldn't have learned what he tweeted because there's no proof of that.

Democrat, Adam Schiff of California. Other lawmakers have made similar requests.
The aide isn't authorized to discuss the request by name and requested anonymity.
Schiff wants his Obamaer's name cleared so bad he can smell a democrat victory 30 years from now.

They can request in one hand........
Trump won't comply because all of the proof he has exists in a Breitbart "article".....there is no proof because there is no there there....they may as well ask for proof of Unicorns...everyone, including Trump, knows that there is no proof. The only proof is the insane ramblings of a pissed off 70 something year old man who can't tolerate adversity without striking out in a self destructive manner....fortunately for him he has enough money for that self destruction to have always been viewed as eccentric....if he were solidly middle class everyone around him would know he was crazier than a shithouse rat....

Trump's a psychopath and its great that he has been called out on his fake news propaganda.
It bodes well for the republic. When trump goes to congress to make war, they are going to remember that he is apt to fabricate for political advantage. Some conservatives may even call out "you lie".

The House Intelligence Committee is the INVESTIGATIVE mechanism and it is THEIR job to find out WHO tapped/illegally leaked Trump's conversations with the Australian and Mexican Heads of State, and private citizen Michael Flynn as well.
Trump should just tell them that as soon as he gets a Deputy AG in, he'll ask for a Grand Jury, Subpoenas and prosecutions to induce rollovers in the Intel Community.
"...by Monday".
They don't want proof; they just want to bail Obama's nailed arse out of trouble.

Devin Nunes of California, and the panel's ranking Democrat, Adam Schiff of California
I don't recall these two schmucks being the least bit concerned over any of the blatant corruption and lies during the past 8 year circus. That POS Schiff was on the Benghazi select committee as with Cummings and did nothing but run interference. Now all of the sudden they want "proof"...frick those clowns.

"I've personally met with President Trump at Mar-a-Lago and the president has had two phone conversations with President Ghani [The president of Afghanistan]. One call was after he won the election and one after [Trump] became president. Before the calls, we were advised to keep conversations short because, we were told, Trump will not be interested in the details of the call and does not have a long attention span, so it would be pointless to have a long call. However, we were pleasantly surprised at how much time President Trump spent asking very informed questions. The first time the presidents spoke, the questions Trump asked impressed us. “How can you win in this fight [against terrorism]?” he asked. “What do you need to become financially independent?” and “How can American business invest in Afghanistan? How can we develop businesses and mining in your country?” Trump would listen intently after each question, often asking follow-ups. Trump's second call with our president was even longer than the first. Asking these types of questions for our country is something the Obama administration never did. The Obama administration was the most academic administration we have ever had to deal with but the Trump administration has been the most thoughtful and intelligent. Trump continually asked “How can you win? What does Afghanistan need to win?” in reference to our fight with terrorism. Trump wants to win. Sincerely. All the Obama administration wanted to do was not lose. The Obama administration was hesitant with us. The enemy could sense that. When the Obama administration announced its plans to pull troops out of the region, they announced the exact date they would do it. All our enemies had to do was wait [Obama] out. They knew the date they had to hang on until — which gave them the will to fight. They used that time to recruit and build up resources.
Trump insanity

Or what?
If they want to be catty they can take note of the Breitbart article and recommend some sort of strong rebuke for the President's claim.
