Until it actually happens, there's no evidence that Trump will get involved or he even wants to.

Message board gossip about a republican event is not going to cut it.

Sessions was a shite AG and blew it, we all know. But as a Senator that MFer was as solid as you could have. He was the single toughest senator on illegal immigration. I know what I’m getting with Sessions and that’s a solid senator. I have no idea what Tubbs believes in other than “supporting Trump.”

This guy gets it.

Sessions is a hardliner we can trust to tackle the biggest threat to America, unchecked and out of control immigration.

Our great and hardworking agents at ICE and the Border Patrol know who will support them.

Loves how massive immigration brings cheap labor and drives down wages for the middle class and poor.

Jeff Sessions does not.

Retarded that backstabbing elf advances to a runoff against the Tubbs, Byrne’s voters better shift over to the Tubbs to kick this through the uprights, backstabbers justly receive their due comeuppance

One that said hed reelect sessions just because he has some seniority? Absolutely
You're a moron. Sessions had more seniority than almost all, he was AG! What did he do? He let the Russia Mueller hoax proceed by RECUSING HIMSELF ON DAY ONE!
Hes a typical Alabama arse clown.

NOW you think he'll use his "seniority " to do good for us?

Again, morons like you is why the swamp stays the swamp. Never change

Huntsville, Tuscaloosa, Montgomery and Southwest Alabama went hard for Sessions.

Mobile went for Byrne. Byrne voters likely going to Sessions.

Powerbrokers lining up behind Sessions.

This will be a 5-8 point Sessions win.

But you know when McConnell needs a vote, a vote not necessarily in the best interest of Alabamians, Sessions will be there for McConnell.

With that said, Tubbs is somewhat of an unknown.

What are you basing this on?
Bryne campaign knows the only reason he’s not a senator is due to Sessions going back on his word to Bradley to not run. Sessions announced one day before filing deadline.
Bryne + Trump + Tubbs will ensure Sessions is never back in senate.

Voted Sessions.

According to Senate rules he'll get his seniority back.
It's all about seniority in Washington. Shelby is the 3rd most powerful senator in Washington. He sits on the most powerful committee in Washington...the appropriations.

Sessions will get his seniority back plus now be a national voice. All good for Alabama.

You're correct on all counts. Shelby was in Trump's ear before Sessions announced he was running. Because Shelby succeeded in calming Trump down about him, Sessions stepped into the race. That's why you haven't heard anything about the race from Trump, and won't.
Sessions' seniority and proven ability to work with his fellow senators is tremendously important to the state and its future federal benefits.
Truthfully, unless you've got a specific agenda, it doesn't make sense NOT to vote for Sessions....
and I'm not a big Sessions fan, just looking at the logical benefits.

Richard Shelby recently got funding for the dredging and deepening of Mobile Bay. This will make them the 4th or 5th largest port in the US!...billions over the long term to the Mobile/South Alabama economy. If Shelby wants Sessions in Washington and they need the South Alabama vote, I'm betting he gets it.

This is what happens to someone who loyally gets appointed Attorney General of the United States & then doesn’t have the wisdom or courage to stare down & end the phony Russia Witch Hunt. Recuses himself on FIRST DAY in office, and the Mueller Scam begins!
