If you are convinced that "others" are white supremacist, haters, and dangerous...when you are around "them" you feel as if you are in danger.

We are both "assuming" things. I was taught that when writing an opinion, it is UNDERSTOOD that it was your own "assumptions" and it was poor writing to actually STATE that.
