Our work sent a long email that boiled down to "We are taking a wait and see approach, but we want to keep everyone safe!!!"

I am glad my company is HQ'ed in a southern state, to where I know we have a bunch of baws who won't stand for this. If we were HQ'ed in NYC or CA I bet our company would have caved already.

I don't get the whole keeping us safe angle though... if the vaccine works, and if Biden's rambling about how you are perfectly safe if you have the vaccine and only 1 in 5000 cases are vaccinated, why should those who are vaccinated worry?

My bosses are actually pretty cool about this stuff and kind of said the same thing about wait and see. They want the constitutional challenges to run their course.

Because you refuse to comply.

And that is not permitted.

My company started requiring vaccination in April. I'm still working under a religious exemption, which I may lose my job anyway if this goes through.

I'm just waiting now to see what they do. For our upper management to be Republicans, they sure jumped on the vaccination bandwagon early. I'm not sure many factories around require it; even now.

I fully expect my company to comply and force the mandate.

Any tips for those who may need to do the same?

My company had a mandatory vaccination policy sent last month for employees working at our HQ in Philly. If you didn’t get vaccinated by mid-October you’d be placed on leave without pay, unless you have a medical or religious exemption. It is mandatory for those who work remote.

Then yesterday they sent an email saying they are having a team discussing the mandate and impact and will make an announcement next week.

I’m expecting an email next week stating all employees must be vaccinated.

Company Text out yesterday "The company is evaluating President Biden's new Covid guidance. Any updates to our protocols will be communicated with employees ahead of any changes."

Brittany Schreiber on Instagram has a pretty detailed religious exemption letter for Christians. I plan on using hers as a template if needed.

I was talking with a friend about it and how i fully expect my company to along with this tyranny.

Once I told him i wouldnt comply, he thought I was crazy to get fired over this like the forced mandate wasnt a big deal.

I feel like I’ve been telling my friends about this slippery slope and how the government is getting more and more ballsy with infringing on our rights, but he’s totally oblivious thinking im some conspiracy nut.

It seems like they dont give a shite and thats beyond infuriating and frustrating. I feel alot of the younger people are like this.. not a good sign..

My company is still silent on it. The office manager is opposed to changing what we are doing. Which is basically whatever you want.

I own a small business and have no plans to force it. I may have to let a few people go to be under the 100 but I know several that I wouldnt shed a tear over losing.

Alabama is a right to work state so I can fire them for just about any reason, so ill tell them it is because I hate the shirt they are wearing.

But you can guarantee at the top of the list are people who supported our installed President*.

Love the right to work law. Frick them, they deserve to be fired.

Mine has been begging us to fill out surveys to find out how many are already vaccinated.

They were teasing being able to wear a mask of your choice if we got 50% vaccinated.

The latest survey went from 23% participation to 88% participation and hit their magic number exactly!

We are 50% vaccinated in a state that's 39% vaccinated.

But due to the extremely contagious delta variant - they are not honoring their offer of choose your own mask.

No word on shot mandates yet, we will lose 35-40% of our workforce - which we can't afford.

BTW: I bought my way in..."let's don't and say we did" - She took the money and blew it in the trash. But I'm still going to go religious exemption and stand with my brothers.

Your work place sounds exactly like mine, same numbers of vax/unvxd. Last time I put "prefer not to answer", pretty sure they counted that as nonvaxxed. I dont know where they'll go with this. I'm hoping they sit back and just wait an see.

They are not just requiring masks but actually requiring a specific type of mask? N95s?

This could be fun.

“I’ll see your N95 and raise you a full face snorkel mask!”

“Oh yeah? Well my dive helmet laughs in the face of your snorkel mask!”
