Here are a couple of reviews if you want to know more about the movie.

D'Souza fans and Trump apologists will flock to this, misguided moths to a misleading flame. In that way, it's a perfect representation of the current climate. In every other way, it's a mess.
quote:
Often unfocused with too many generalizations, oversimplifications, and a very weak central thesis comparing Donald Trump to Abraham Lincoln. It might change the way you look at fascism, but it won't change the way you look at Trump.

D'Souza quotes Hitler (played by Pavel Kríz) in one scene as saying, "if you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed." It's a concept D'Souza has taken to heart.

Didn't know it was out. Will go see it.
This is the first time I haven't considered you completely worthless. Thanks.
Oh, I still accept your surrender.

Member when Democrat hero FDR used to affectionately refer to genocidal maniac Joseph Stalin as "Uncle Joe"?
Now they (the Democrats) promote a Stalin form of government that led to the murder of millions. But they disguise it as "Democrat Socialism". Like nomenclature is supposed to prevent the ultimate state of socialism, despotism.
Nomenclature is only used to sell a lie.

My wife just text me saying she’d like to see it. We never go to the movies as a general rule, but I love my red pilled, brown wife. I will take her.

The notion that Hitler was bragging that he, himself, used the "big lie" is in itself a big lie. The whole "big lie" comment from Hitler came from his book Mein Kampf, which was published well before he became chancellor. It would be pretty stupid for him to be bragging in his book about lying to people if he planned on a political career, yet that is what we're supposed to believe. Let us debunk it once and for all. Here's Hitler in his own words:
Translation: Hitler was saying that the Jews used the "big lie" technique in order to frame Ludendorff for the loss of WWI. He was saying that the Jews naturally are masters of the big lie technique and can easily fool gentiles because gentiles (according to Hitler) are honest and aren't naturally inclined to the treachery of the Jews. (Hitler didn't know about the Clintons).
I know it's OK to make up lies about Hitler and all that, but I am someone who likes historical accuracy, no matter who is the subject. Hitler was specifically talking about the Jews when he talked about the big lie. In other words, they take him out of context, which is exactly what the media always warns us against, isn't it?
Basically Hitler was saying when it comes to the big lie:
quote:
But it remained for the Jews, with their unqualified capacity for falsehood, and their fighting comrades, the Marxists, to impute responsibility for the downfall precisely to the man who alone had shown a superhuman will and energy in his effort to prevent the catastrophe which he had foreseen and to save the nation from that hour of complete overthrow and shame. By placing responsibility for the loss of the world war on the shoulders of Ludendorff they took away the weapon of moral right from the only adversary dangerous enough to be likely to succeed in bringing the betrayers of the Fatherland to Justice.
All this was inspired by the principle—which is quite true within itself—that in the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility; because the broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily; and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie, since they themselves often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large-scale falsehoods.
It would never come into their heads to fabricate colossal untruths, and they would not believe that others could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously. Even though the facts which prove this to be so may be brought clearly to their minds, they will still doubt and waver and will continue to think that there may be some other explanation. For the grossly impudent lie always leaves traces behind it, even after it has been nailed down, a fact which is known to all expert liars in this world and to all who conspire together in the art of lying.

Well Lincoln was the worst POTUS of all time, so there really is not comparison there.
