Just went to a local Coburn's for a faucet repair part and the guy behind the counter didn't even have a mask on. Then went to my local Walmart and there was some dear old white lady at the door offering masks which I politely refused. There are 95% sheeple out there though who are obeying without a second thought.

I don't think the hype of this COVID 19 shite is 100% accurate and to be honest I believe it was blown out of proportion 10 fold. But to be honest I picked up one of those copper fit fact covering deals yesterday in the "as seen on TV" sections and I will go out looking like a Ninja today.

I understand the pushback from many on this but it's really not that big a deal to me. For the record I have not opted to wear a mask since all of this happened but even if it helps by .00001% to get us back to business as usual I'll wear the damn thing when I go into a store for a few minutes.

Oh and if anything it will hide my white-privileged identity!

Went to my everyday morning stop gas station.

Was told I need mask to enter.
I pulled shirt over mouth.
Was told "will let you slide, but need mask next time"
Will go else where that wants my money.

Been wearing masks since the start of this since the Asians pretty much proved to us they work. Not that I’m a fan of government telling us what to wear I like the idea the stores have caught on. What I don’t get is why do people think the masks are trying to capture a single solitary virus that would just pass through? When we know it’s droplets far bigger that the masks are protecting us from? Also this idea that your doing to protect others defies all logic as well. If you’re wearing a filter you’re protecting yourself as well as others and if we all wear filters well this mess might clear up a little. But the sticking point of “government” telling us we have no choice but to wear it is absurdity.

I put a sign on my door for CYA purposes since I had a fire marshal visit and say we are supposed to have masks on but I will not enforce it. If my customers want to go without that's ok with me.

The mask don't really do much in these environments and most people are not even wearing masks that will help, do no wear a real mask correctly and/or don't clean them. More of a germ spreader.

I like the "pretty much" part of your comment.

What next they have pretty much proven that a comfort blanket works?

That is what they do in NC. They have signs on the door, even went to a walmart were the greeters were saying if you have a mask wear one.

Zero enforcement, half the employees have these stupid bandanas and just wear them around their next for show.

Well I’ve seen a good many videos and studies from the Asians that say otherwise at the very onset of this but yet our own CDC seems to think differently as well so what sources do you have ? I’d like to see some of this research??

I went pick up a few things at Superior tackle so the wife sent me to Costco and they say gotta have a mask. No,not really.

"Honey,Costco doesn't want my money. I'll stop at Albertson's on the way home and get the rest at Harvest"

I wear one when going to the grocery store. That’s about it.

There are plenty of businesses requiring masks. Trader Joe's required one before the mask mandate. Most grocery stores I've been in since mandate have required one.

The fire marshal said we could get fined up to 1,000 for the first infraction.

How it makes sense a business can get fined for something one of their customers does is beyond me.
