Anyone else getting pissed off today?

After the confirmation of no collusion yesterday, now I’m just pissed off today. We gave the the intelligence community big power to use surveillance to protect us and now it appears some was using it to advance a political campaign. The same ic who we have have been told we have to believe at all cost. If we are going to move forward with the Patriot Act, we need to know what happened to start this investigation. Anyone who cares about civil liberties should be concerned enough to investigate in order to find out if laws and rules were broken to target American citizens or a political campaign.
Another reason I’m pissed is because of the predicable media coverage. The media lied to the public for over 2 years and now Trump and his supporters are supposed to take the high road? Where is the accountability for democrats and the media?

You lack perspective. The federal government just spent $25M over two years and it all but guaranteed a Trump re-election in 2020. The continued denials by Democrats in Congress and the media helps push a possible turn of the House back to red into more of a probability.

Yeah but from a civil liberties perspective this saga is incredibly depressing and at this stage no one has been held accountable. 2020 and future elections don’t even matter if we can’t prevent the IC from creating hoax investigations out of thin air in order to go after their opponents.
