They’re not bypassing the media. They’re insignificant compared to the damage the propaganda wing of the DNC is capable of

i don't know if Shapiro, Owens, or Milo count

Peterson obviously cashed in and that's made him sell out and get super wacky. his underlying, original message is still a good one but he over-exposed himself trying to maximize that $$$ and it's hurt him

Shapiro is what he is

Owens is a fraud

Milo has been dead for years and pre-dates the IDW

Nobody that appears on a Fox News or MSNBC or CNN is discussing anything that would be considered “dark web”.

Where’s the person who is anti-war, neutral or anti on Israel, anti-immigration, pro 2nd amendment, and generally pro small government?

We could list viewpoints for days that, despite being logically defensible and fact-based get absolutely zero airtime in mainstream discussion.

Jordan Peterson is extreme because he’s against transgenderism? Come on, son.

He's a leftist. He called for Kavanaugh to step down because Democrats didn't like him.

Candace Owens - lol. She was doxxing conservatives two years ago and is now some champion of black Republicans. Even though she can’t properly articulate a conservative position on something as mainstream as climate change

Milo - probably the worst one. I don’t think he genuinely believes anything he puts out

Neither of these are idw.

my point is they have audiences that existed, that the demand for what they do was there, and they're just filling supply. I think it's weird that all of these left wing progs have conservative white audiences.

you have an extreme (alleged) ideological inflexibility

it's not that difficult of an issue if you don't require pure ideological purity

in fact I think it's such common sense and requires very few words to explain to someone that there are 2 genders and they have physiological and psychological differences

and you're wrong. if this were true the trans movement would be non-existent

I'm by no means a Peterson expert but I've never really heard him say anything extreme on these topics. Do you have some examples?

It’s not the ideology, it’s just I think it’s fricking weird that a “collective” of progs market themselves to a young, white, conservative audience.

i think your desire for ideological purity is why you don't get it

the biggest selling point for most of these guys is that some of their views are digestible and supportable by different groupings of people, and supporting the remainder of their views isn't required to be a fan.

JP is a whackadoodle in some areas and has made some legit worrisome comments. that doesn't invalidate his commentary about post modernism, leftism, feminism, etc. it also doesn't invalidate his commentary about self improvement

i guarantee if you ever nutted up and gave your legitimate, personal belief system we could all pick it apart and drive by gotcha you like some real leftists. you're not nearly as pure as you seem to demand of your public figures

What exactly constitutes as a "huckster"? They have used their platform, or particular circumstances, to spread ideas, and they've cashed in on it.

How is that different than any other person in the media?

Are you insinuating they don't actually believe in the things they say, they're just saying it to get rich? Perhaps, but I'd argue otherwise.

They're main schtick is having open dialogue about different ideas, and not resorting to the bullshite political jabbing, sjw nonsense, etc. It's not even necessarily all political. Whether you agree with them or not, you should be down with what they're trying to do.

There aren't many other media outlets where you can get opposing views without the usual resorting to nonsense.

Yeah, you were also a Never-Trumper and swore up and down for a year + that Trump was only running for his brand... so your reads of people are wildly dubious.
