Anybody else have students who will be required to get jabbed before going back to campus

My daughter is applying for a medical exemption and I told the school I'm not writing a check until I know if her exemption is approved.
She doesnt want the jab. She is not high risk.
My worry is that they are going to harrass students who don't get the jab.

No final word yet, still wait and see. But probably! Although we live in an area where things may shut down again before we blink twice.
Colleges think they have the upper hand. See the example of Virginia Tech, who recently told students to go somewhere else for classes if they don't want to vaccinate.
UPDATE: strike first paragraph. Institution announced yesterday that vaccination IS required.

Not sure on MMR, I didn't get the meningitis one. I was told I just wouldn't be allowed on campus during an outbreak.

No. But any public school that demands the kids take the vaccine... should also be held responsible if the very, very rare situation happens, where the kid dies from the vaccine. If they aren't willing to be held responsible for that, then frick those schools.

Thank you. I'm sick and tired of those smart arse-- who try to equate vaccines that have been around, tested and proven safe over the course of decades, and these little-tested, approved-for-emergency-use only experimental shots about whose effects, short and long term, we know next to nothing.

It would not surprise me at all they force them to have the vaccine to enter campus.

I can't tell you anything about them nor can I tell you the long term impact of mascara or the heavy metals in makeup or baby powder or the millions of vitamins and supplements consumed every year.
I can tell you I would not want any of my kids to miss the college experience out of unfounded fears of a vaccine.

Nor have I.
My side is the conservative, small government side. I don't have anybody in power and haven't for decades. Trump was certainly no conservative.
I am not saying you have to get the vaccine.
If you can't do business with people that you want to do business with because they have vaccine requirements that they certainly have the right to impose then those are consequences of your decision. Find somewhere else.
