The bill that was introduced in the VA house provided for killing the kid as it was being born. There's video of the committee testimony by the bill's sponsor where she verified that was the case.
There's a referendum we're voting on in Arizona right now that would amend the state constitution to have zero restrictions on abortion, and that includes who can perform an abortion, and expressly forbids state government from passing any abortion-related law.
Whether you realize it or not, that's the side you're supporting with "it's between the woman and her doctor."
