re: ANTIFA Getting A Taste Of Their Own Medicine In Berkeley

The sad thing is SR, I don't even feel the effect of it right now. I am assigned to a clinic and team at FSH and I just go with the flow. Being retired is obviously going to come as a shock to my system. We are planning on retiring to Fayetteville (we already own a home there now) when all is said and done. So I guess I need to research what Prime versus Standard will be like there. The nice thing is, we have lots of friends in the area that are retired that we can talk to about their current situation.

When I went down for my old man nap this afternoon there were already five. I don't watch TV at all. Has this been discussed on MSM yet? I am sure they are going to have fun with Nathan Damigo and his past.
The author of that article needs to look up the word "sucker-punch"...

I don't think so, unless the left is truly completely shameless and self unaware.
Chicks fb comments pretty much ruin any narrative and lawsuit.

Next assignment is in Tampa.
Tampa is, in spite of its reputation, a pretty awesome duty station. Had a lot of good times TDY to CENTCOM (then known as "SADCOM") a few years back. If you pulled SOCOM (HAPPYCOM) good on you. Great morale there apparently.
Bragg....hmmm. Good stuff there. Not sure I'd enjoy the lifestyle.

Here's a quick hit list of Prime awesomeness.
If you have family that will be on it upon retirement........yeah, appointments might as well be by fricking lottery.
But, let's say you have a son(like me) who has a simple recurring rash. You'd like to get it checked out. Here are your steps since it's not urgent.
1)Call for appointment. HOPE to see PCM inside of 2 weeks. But, PCM can't actually help cause you need a referral.
2)Get referral. Should be solid two weeks if everything works perfect for you to finally see referral doctor. No choice in who it is and good chance there's only like 2 in your area........nearest one.......20 miles.
So that's PCM worthlessness.
Let's talk quality of doctors available under Prime. You're a retired person with a decent job. Maybe your wife has decent job too. But, you're going to doctors where ALL of the clientele are ghetto trash or trailer trash. Basically, a welfare medical mill.
So, let's say you'd like to get info on Prime so, instead of just hanging yourself, you call for phone help. Oh boy. This should be fun.
1)Virtual certainty that the person you get will be more clueless about what you want to know than you were after 20 minutes of Google.
2)Need to know what docs are available in your area under prime? Great. I'll be you think there's a website for that. Wrong. There are like 3. Guess what. They don't agree with each other. I called three different doctors only to learn they had moved to other states.
3)So, I get someone on the phone who agrees to send me a list. She does. I am NOT exaggerating for you here. A Venn diagram of her list of Pediatricians in my area and the list gleaned from the online search had ZERO crossover. Yes. ZERO. How is that even fricking possible? You'd think they would be working from the same database.
I called and asked that exact question. I could actually hear the girl on the other side nervous chuckle. I said, "something tells me you've had this conversation before". She admitted as much. I asked if it was being worked on. She didn't know.
I went through ALL that and STILL didn't give up. But, upon my next doc switch for children, I was literally sitting in the office when I called my wife and said, "frick this..........we make too goddamned much money to be one step above charity cases".
From THAT doctor, I made a call to the best rated Pediatric center in our area. They told me they could see my child THAT afternoon. I made an appointment. Called Tricare to tell them to get fricked nicely......instant Standard..........and never looked back.
Now, if anyone in my family needs a doctor, we can do what normal people do. Research well rated ones and go to them!

That pretty much mirrors my experience. I had prime for my first year out and just got tired of driving an hour to Lewis just to wait in line for a referral to a substandard and overextended doctor. Switching to standard was one of the best decisions I've made since separating. I actually feel like a real civilian now.

I don't get why Cali let's this happen. I'd be pissed if any state I lived in let violence erupt in the streets to this magnitude. It's basically saying we can't control our citizens.
Seriously?
I can. The city of San Francisco has an app for your smart phone of where the human feces are on the street, so, you can avoid said streets and not step in your neighbor's shite.

In California, if someone is wearing a mask to avoid being identified while committing any crime including the crime of refusing to obey the lawful order of a police officer they can be charged with violating California Penal Code Section 185 which states:
quote:
It shall be unlawful for any person to wear any mask, false whiskers, or any personal disguise (whether complete or partial) for the purpose of:
One—Evading or escaping discovery, recognition, or identification in the commission of any public offense.
ANTIFA members who wear a mask to a Trump rally so they can't be identified by the police when they start beating up Trump supporters or destroying private property can be arrested on the spot by the police if the police really wanted to protect Trump supporters from being physically attacked for exercising their First Amendment right.
Obviously, the Berkeley City and Campus police have exposed the fact that they are not interested in protecting President Trump supporters from being physically attacked.

Yeah, it was unexpected when I came out on the list again. And to make it worse, I did battalion, then brigade, then brigade command, back to back to back. Six years straight. I think I got a "go" on this task.

The guy who punched that girl should be trumpeted as a hero by the left. He refused to bow down to social conventions and treat her like a dainty and delicate flower, but instead treated her like a warrior, an equal.
Anything less than his best shot would have been patronizing to her!

I should add that it is SHOCKINGLY not that expensive to go Standard vs prime.
I mean, yes, it's more expense. But hey. You have ZERO premiums, so there's that.
I did a run down and short of every fricker in my family getting badly sick at the same time, I'm still out less than most families are in PREMIUMS alone!
And, I get to see almost whomever I want.
No brainer to me.
