Oh I had some interesting times along the way last night and into the early morning. And I was very unkind and condescending to Pecker (I really was - will have to apologize when I get the chance - not cool on my part at all). I don't mind a spirited debate. And I categorized the assailant as a coward without the ability to prove beyond a reasonable doubt what went through his mind. Still on the fence as to whether he did or did not know she was a female. One part says he did, the other part says he did not beat her to the ground so he did not. I wouldn't worry too much about his feelings. He started a thread on the OT the other night asking if guys would get banged out by a male porn star for money. I don't think he's a very serious person overall.

And my umbrage was sincere. There are fundamental things beyond our politics and I can't believe people were downright giddy over some douche Marine/ex-con dropping a stupid 98lb girl who probably doesn't even know what the hell she believes in. We could get into a whole other debate about the alt-right's lack of convention and decency in general, but that's another matter. Never thought I'd see a bunch of supposedly educated southern baws down with that just because the guy is on "their side." Then again they were all hardcore for the police officer slamming that girl down earlier in the week. So maybe, as some have posed and as you might gather from reading the /chan/ sites and goldennugget's posts here (he's one of the better representations of that sort on TD), their frustration with modern feminist culture has given way to a general antipathy toward women.
