You can’t convince me otherwise after the man is deciding vote to take a major funding source away from Democrats, then a few hours later he retires to allow Trump to nominate a 45-50 year old conservative to serve for 30+ years.

He only gave liberals their biggest victories on social issues over the past decade or so but let’s just forget about that.

Don't care. He ruled as if he cared about other people but stuck to the constitution. That is exactly what I want from a SCJ

I didn’t say I didn’t agree with him but he gave liberal some huge victories so it’s just funny to say he hates liberals. If you were to say that about Alito or Thomas I could understand.

His wife is a good friend of my mom's, and I've spoken to him several times, most recently at my brother's engagement party. He's definitely right of center, and still just as sharp as he ever was.
He was a Reagan appointee after all. People on both sides hate him because he went against them at times, but the timing of his retirement is a pretty clear indicator of what he wants for the future.

I’m a big fan of Kennedy. In my studies of the Supreme Court justices over the years, I find I have a lot of the same views as he does on issues based on his voting record. It’s really sad to see him go. I liked Trump’s first pick, and there’s a good chance I’ll like his next one. Even though I think he’s doing a terrible job as president, nobody is terrible all the time and I am just trying to be positive he’ll put another moderate Republican up there.
