In Mustang, OK some kids protested and got suspended. My guess is the teachers put them up to it and should be fired

Governor Kevin Stitt
@GovStitt

I applaud Mustang Superintendent Dr. Charles Bradley for suspending 122 students who walked out of class to protest.

The solution is even more simpler than that - STOP BRAINWASHING kids in public schools

It would take a complete overhaul from teachers to principals to superintendents to administrative to local and State laws, but that's what needs to happen.

These people will screech incessantly about anything Biblical being displayed in schools, but they have no problem with evil tranny literature and they'll put a thousand kids on an overpass to protest the government.

Burn it to ash, and then burn the ash again just to be sure. Then start rebuilding, with "school choice" being an uninfringeable option.

The only reason you can't get rid of a leftist school board is your exact post.

Wrong. The only reason it's nearly impossible to get rid of a leftist school board is voter apathy (which extends to voters just voting incumbents back in) and not nearly enough conservatives running (which can also be viewed as a form of voter apathy).

This is no different than why we have a Metro Council so eaten up with politics that they've removed the discussion of removing Cleve Dunn from the Greater Baton Rouge Airport Commission from their agenda entirely. Dunn was indicted last month, accused of nine felony counts in total, including bribery, money laundering, public contract fraud, illegal split commission of commodities, and malfeasance in office and they voted 9-1 to remove discussion from their agenda (the lone vote for it was Dwight Hudson, who put it on the agenda in the first place).

That's not a reality for just everyone who gets in this pickle.

How one spends money is a choice.
I did without so my sons could be well educated in a safe environment. Every dollar I spent will be returned to tenfold.

One is a commercial pilot and the other breezed through an MBA earning six figures less than two years removed. Your children are a gift from God.

Never trust this gift with the public school system.

That's easy to say but 50% of the people don't make enough to pay taxes. I would say maybe the upper 20% of income earners could afford private school or if a working spouse quits work to stay home and home school. Luckily we lived in a good school district and are out now.

The school didn't call the cops, child services or nothing???

This is a double post but people under 18 have first amendment rights as well when it comes to walkouts. Criminally there is nothing anyone can do about a walkout.

Should have made it clearer, the school didn't call the cops...... on the dad for pulling the child out.
