I haven't been following this race all that closely... is this a case of America over party for them or is there something else going on causing these democrats to support the republican?
I'm not sure about this one, but for Stephens it was about calling Sayed out for his support from anti-semites like Rebellion PAC (which went so far as to blame rising grocery prices on "da joos") and Hasan Piker. Once Sayed beat her in the election, he pretty much rebuffed her support (which is uncommon among politicians and almost verboten among Democrats) and then his campaign explicitly asked her to not attend a Democrat unity event. Her response has been
No idea if there was something with this gal, she's a friend of Stephens' or just is standing up against the idea of not circling the wagons once the primary is over.

Or just pointing out the fact more texas republicans came out for a Dem than Democrats came out for a R in Michigan.

I told you guys over and over people are crossing over because he's going to pull a Sid Edwards. and like Sid Edwards he'll be a disappointment. Abdul is not liked, half of dems voted against him in the primary. Some will hold their nose and vote for him, others were waiting for an excuse to vote for Rogers and these ''crossovers'' are giving them the excuse they need.
And let's be honest;
There's a reason people are throwing their political careers away doing this. Because they know the aren't actually throwing their political careers away at all.
