Also, going over his points again, I feel he was a little selective regarding the data on masks. I agree that masks are not very effective at preventing inhalation of aerosols. However, there is decent evidence to support that there is at least some benefit reducing emission of aerosols. This has been the trend particularly in more recent studies with access to larger data. Most of his sources provided even say as much. The sticking point is that masks alone are not very effective. The focus should be on vaccination. But if vaccination rates are low and our healthcare system is strained, we are really only left with these mitigation measures.

I agree with every bit of that. My normal inclination would be to zing this fellow for the handful of weird/incorrect posits he made. But given the inexcusably asinine Covidian positions most School Boards maintain, and their callousness to schoolkids in their charge, I'm giving him a pass.

This is a terrible way to think. No one should be given a pass when their claims are incorrect and misleading. And they certainly should not be promoted or encouraged.

As a physician, it’s very aggravating and disheartening to see this kind of garbage propagated in the community. All of the competent physicians are having to deal with oftentimes hostile patients who regurgitate these same ideas and refuse to listen to their own doctor’s advice.

Honestly, I think what this guy did should be eligible for board review. I don’t support censorship, but there’s a difference between censorship and maintaining some degree of professional validity and integrity.

Also, if he doesn’t wear a mask, his picture isn’t circulating around this site and others calling him a hypocrite? Sometimes you do things to set an example of even if unnecessary

Do unnecessary things to set an example for other people to do unnecessary things?

He claims that if you had antibodies from a previous infection then the vaccine is useless? And that the side-effects are worse?

WTF?

Is there evidence to support these claims?

Amen.
But that difficult environment is created not by this guy, but rather by obvious bullshite propagated by the CDC and Fauci. People are waking up to AMA BS, Hospital Administrator BS, Fauci BS, CDC BS, there is "95% Scientific Consensus" BS, and it's having an effect on the rest of us.

One poster here ordered mistrust:
1. Media
2. Doctors
3. Judges
4. Politicians

To me, as a person who's dedicated his life to the field, it is very hard witnessing dogmanure like Fauci, Walensky, or Catherine O'Neal spewing crap which splatters on the rest of us. But at this point, our entire field has been sullied with excrement of a select few individuals. The left has been gunning for this as a foray to communist medicine. We are almost there. Very sad. But it is what it is.

Just FYI, Zero Hedge is a FINANCIAL blog. It does come up with interesting financially related info.

But reading it for Medical advise or in seeking Scientific expertise probably compares with getting financial information from ScienceBlog.com.

The dumbasses in your profession should have though about that before politicizing the virus at every turn since the CARES Act was signed

Millions of healthcare professionals cowering in fear to a mob of twitter bots and limp wristed politicians and political analysts. So pathetic in every way.

It easily predates that. It at least dates back to Ebola, and frankly beyond that back to Obamacare.

My guess is you can trace it back to Woodrow Wilson if you really look into it. The good news is at the micro level I would guess people have full faith and trust in their personal doctors. Just not public health workers.

Not in medicine. Medicine's decline tracks to LBJ, then to Ted Kennedy in the 1970's.

And then everyone became a doctor with the advent of social media.

I have doctors and nurses on Instagram sharing memes like a bunch old dads with cringey logic. Apparently there's a serum that prevents death at a 99.9% clip when a drunk driver hits you with a car
