Okay, that’s on my iPad and apparently, it does offer a capitalized correction for democrat as a first option but it does not do the same for republican .... although it appears to offer republicans, plural.
I’m not sure that’s something intentional although I ca see where a propensity to thumb the predictive word rather than typing it out might lead to the difference somehow I suppose.

Republican is not necessarily a proper noun. You know this if you read your Constitution.
Article 4, Section 4.

They aren't talking about the Republican party here.

So that's not Apple autocorrect, that's your predictive text.
You ever think about if you capitalize Republican more that it will show up like that. Do you not know how your device works?
Google it does not capitalize either one of them, my predictive text capitalizes both because I do.

I never capitalize Democrat and it does for me.

Your video shows you clicking an auto fill word to complete the word. It didn’t autocorrect. You chose which of the three options to auto fill, which is why you don’t show the keyboard.
Also... as stated multiple times.... autocorrect learns how YOU type. Meaning that either you always click the auto fill that capitalizes democrat, or you type republican so much that it learned that YOU never capitalize the R.

Capitalize Republican more when you type and the problem will be fixed.

Try capitalizing it 4 or 5 times.
It should learn that you prefer it capitalized.

Because I tried to teach you how autocorrect (more for spelling) and autofill (more for word choice) learn from the users vocabulary, speech patterns, grammatical style, and use of punctuation?
