If y'all will remember, this was her baby. She said it more than a month ago that if the Senate won't pass the SAVE America Act that she would see to it that it gets attached to the FISA reauthorization.
She is doing more for this country than all others in Congress combined outside a small group of Republicans who are also doing work.
Even money between her and Tulsi Gabbard for who will become our nation's first female POTUS. I would vote for either of them in a heartbeat.
And she's so damn fine.

FISA is a giant steaming turd, but if we are going to be force fed it, I have no issue with them being forced to sprinkle sugar (Save Act) on it.

I feel like that's the entire point of it. I would imagine that she does not like FISA either. Brilliant move making them choose like that.
Also, until the swamp is finally drained for good, FISA is being used by the good guys to go after the baddies. Remember, as someone told us long ago, "FISA works both ways." They fricked up using it on Trump long ago.

The SAVE Act being codified will lead to more legitimate seatholders that will be opposed to FISA.
And that's exactly why I suspect we will ultimately get FISA renewed without passage of SAVE. People still don't realize how thoroughly corrupt the GOPe is. Outside of Luna, Burchett and Gill, they're all deeply connected to some very swampy entities.
