Well now, this is interesting. Somebody got some splainin to do Lucy.

Andrew McCabe, the former deputy director of the FBI, said a bipartisan group of lawmakers was briefed on a counterintelligence investigation into President Trump and not one of them objected. McCabe and other FBI officials informed the so-called "Gang of Eight" — leaders from both parties in the House and Senate, as well as the chairs and co-chairs of the House and Senate intelligence committees — that the bureau had opened a counterintelligence investigation into Trump after he fired FBI Director James Comey in May 2017. “No one objected, not on legal grounds, not on constitutional grounds, and not based on the facts,” McCabe told NBC’s “Today” show Tuesday.
quote:
McCabe said earlier this week the FBI had reasonable cause to open a counterintelligence investigation into Trump’s relationship with Russia after Comey’s firing. McCabe also revealed he was the official who ordered an obstruction of justice probe into the president.

the simple fact is an outsider won the highest office in the land. An outsider that had no intertwined webs with other politicians to the order of "if I go, I can take you with me.". An outsider who didn't NEED the power the office provided because he was already quite powerful.
The insiders were distrustful and fearful of an outsider who hadn't played the bloodgame of DC politics.

The president has accused McCabe of trying to plot a coup to oust him from the White House. McCabe, in response, said it’s been “horrific” having to “endure the threats, the taunts, the bullying” of Trump in public.
Trump took his balls away from him.

This is the first I'm hearing that even some Republicans didn't want Donald Trump as president.
Ok, it's not.

I've posted the following before and I'll post it again:
It all makes sense when you look at it as establishment vs non-establishment, rather than democrat vs republican. This is just further proof that the D's and R's are one in the same.

Yep, he is the designated fall guy for the deep state and thinks he can bring the rest down with him, but it is futile. He fricked.

And they weren't told:
- the dossier was payed for by the DNC and Hillary
- the FISA warrants were based on the dossier
- McCabe himself said there would be no FISA without the dossier
- Comey saying it was unverified
- The lead FBI legal council saying the verification was "in its infancy" while obtaining the FISA warrant
- Bruce Ohr saying the dossier was skeptical at best
- Steele saying the info info in the dossier was "maybe 50/50"
- Steele was fired from the FBI for leaking and was used as a back-channel back into the FBI/DOJ
- Strzok, the lead investigator in the investigation, saying he would "stop Trump"
- Mark Warner texting a lobbyist for Deripaska, saying he "wanted" to meet with Steele in London"
- Ohr's wife was working for Fusion GPS and was investigation Trump's children
- Ohr met with Glenn Simpson, founder of Fusion GPS, in August 2016, when Simpson said he only met with Ohr AFTER the election
- The "Russian" lawyer at the Trump Tower meeting met with Fusion GPS before AND after the meeting
- The soviet intel officer at the Trump Tower meeting said he "personally knew Clinton"
- Misfud was a WESTERN intel asset
That is the tip of the iceberg. Why didn't McCabe let them know of these facts

Astute insight...., what you're saying is Trump wasn't a Swamp approved candidate.

Drain the swamp. They were all in on it. Republicans at minimum should dispose of their own swampers, there’s enough Trump supporters in Congress now to do it. Can’t do anything about the Dims unless they are investigated. All should be investigated and put on trial for treason

It also makes sense if you look at as FBI vs criminal organizationand foreign espionage, but of course there’s not enough exciting conspiracy theory bullshite in there to get your adrenaline pumping, is there?

This.
PS - I wonder if something like this is the reason why Lindsey Graham changed his stripes after his boyfriend, Benedict McCain, bought the farm?

What and how was the "evidence" presented? Did they include the facts about how the dossier was funded? It isn't hard to sway opinion when the facts are lies...

it blows my mind he would do that interview, talk about a plot to overthrow the president and not even once think "hey, maybe i'm not supposed to be saying this shite"
Because he either:
1) said frick all this shite, I'm taking them all down with me
or
2) has made a deal to be the one to enlighten the normies just how corrupt their government is. leniency for telling it all in a public setting
These are the ONLY two options for what is happening.

The media are going to use this as "proof" this circus was justified.
