You will get little argument from me on this issue. The monetary policies of the Federal Reserve distort the market and lead to a misallocation of capital that necessarily creates boom & bust cycles.
On a related note, the massive increase of the money supply that resulted from the CARES Act led to an artificial influx of dollars into the economy. As more money chases the same amount of goods, prices inevitably go up, eroding purchasing power.

I am a frugal shopper myself and usually pack my lunch. Yet I was having a lunch meeting with a client.
But my lack of frugality isn’t the point. The point here is that same CFA combo cost half that before the inflation brought on by the CARES-Act.
