So you want to get of the parts that reflect "Provide for the common defense". There is no other explanation to your post. Then there is the part of the "General Welfare" (and that text has nothing to do with a welfare state).... What parts of the constitution are you wanting to get rid of that eliminates it?
Pretty straight forward question... and I think you have already answered it.
