The more interesting phenomenon is the Right’s complete obsession with this kid.. he actually could legitimately say, “Mission Accomplished”.

Making a fool of yourself is mission accomplished?

Take 5 randomly-selected White or Asian Harvard students, and statistically he is ALMOST CERTAINLY more comparable to a box of f*cking rocks on the intelligence scale (as measured by SAT).
FIFY!

I think I remember reading that UCF was the only school he got into. He had applied to Florida, Texas, Cal - those type schools and was denied.
Unfortunately, that's pretty believable. It's not that he was qualified for Harvard either, it's simply that they cherry pick their student body to bring "diversity" to the class. We know that means diversity of backgrounds, color, and sex, but certainly not thought.

Have they dumbed down the SAT?
Ok replying to my own question, but I was short of shocked that a 1270 SAT was “that bad” because back in my day, it wasn’t Harvard elite but it was pretty damn good, and one could get into Harvard with those boards if they had great grades, essay, teacher recs, etc..
Then I read that they changed the SAT format a few years ago substantially...
No penalty for guessing
Reduce multiple choices from 5 to 4
More time allowed
Fewer questions
Removed all those daunting “SAT words” that no on ever heard of.
And of lot of other changes..
So yes it ain’t your daddy’s SAT anymore.

Didnt he get denied by UCLA but got into Harvard ?
You need a 4.0 and activities to get a sniff from UCLA unless you are an athlete.
Harvard is private. They do as they please.

Tell that to the asian students denied admission...
Fingers crossed on that lawsuit.
