I don’t disagree with you that the Energy Industry, specifically oil & gas, is going really well right now. It has been very successful in the past several years, rebounding from the Covid-induced crash.
However, much of this has been in spite of targeted rhetoric by the White House specifically in 2021 & 2022. The White House has backed off some, but you have members of Congress and Governors like Gavin Newsome who have not.
If American voters elect the Harris/Waltz ticket, that will embolden that White House, along with the anti-oil members of Congress and Governors, that the American electorate mostly agrees with their positions of hostility towards the American oil & gas industry and making it a whipping boy for what they perceive to be some of the country’s biggest problem.
No thank you to four years of increased hostility towards industry coming from Washington DC.

Don't disagree. But maybe it's time we recognize that it's mostly empty rhetoric to appease the base.

These are your federal lands in NM.
And that SE corner is where the main Permian oil “boom” is coming from. Lots of BLM Lands there. Even if you’re on private surface with private minerals, or State, if drilling 2 mile laterals, there’s still a good chance much of your inventory will involve having to filed Federal APDs to drill and produce, as your laterals are likely to take in some Fed minerals.
Good news right now is that local BLM office knows how important industry is to that region, so even if permits are taking 1-2 years, they are still being processed. I certainly don’t want to give a Harris White House and Dept of Interior the chance to send more anti-industry directives downstream to those Permian, DJ and Powder field offices, though.

A leftist comes on here to praise the current administrations energy policy, specifically its future prospects, less than 90 days from an election where the above mentioned administrations VP is on the ticket.
What were all of us stupid humans thinking?!?!!

I'll highlight the important points of the OP that you missed because you're too busy being a bitch

Big investments have also been made in renewables over the years
And before you all start crying I'm not crediting Biden for any of this
This goes all the way back to the Bush administration moving forward
Stop bitching

GTFO bitch. If I had a nickel for every loon on this site that swears they don’t vote dem, or support their policies, or even goes as far as to pretend to be conservative (I’m looking at you, Slo), I could buy this forum. Just know that your reputation betrays your cute little disclaimers.
