Don't know if any of you are listening to Rush (it's the poliboard so I'm assuming yes), but he just raised a great point that America is the final obstacle to the "utopia" that so many major players are trying to push us toward. I realize this isn't any new information but I thought it was just a really effective albeit frightening way to look at the state of the world today. There are no places more free or with more opportunity than we are given by virtue of being born here.

If we allow ourselves to be made mediocre and for the internal mechanisms of democracy to destroy what this country really is, there's nowhere else. Just amazing how fragile it all is when you step back. Happy Wednesday folks

I don't think Russia, China, Japan, etc., are down with a one-world government.

I believe Hungary and Czech are still strong with us. Actually a crapload of Italy is conservative. Same really with any country. Half or more than half are waking up, all over the world.

Hell even a third of Canadians are waking up.

This is what worries me though. If it's just a third in each country, the end result is the same. Almost all these countries are probably within 10% of being dominated by the other side. That's a pretty easy number to hit with a little immigration and state run media. Democracy only works with an educated and virtuous populace.

This is what I don’t understand. You can literally move anywhere else on planet earth to experience socialism and big government. Why cant there be one single country with free market capitalism?

I don't know that we can thump our chests about this so much anymore. In reality, we live in an almost overt police state. If you don't believe it, screw up big enough and you'll get an education. The Parkland shooting ended up with LE from the FBI, state troopers, county, and local cops, and that's just the ones we know about.

In essence, we rent our property from the government. We like to say we own it, we get all the responsibilities of ownership, we pay all the bills, and do all the improvements. But try not paying property taxes on it for a while and see what happens.

We are required to pay into a system that takes money from us in the present, when a dollar will buy whatever a dollar will buy, the government takes that money, paying you no interest on it whatsoever, and then gives it back to you in small increments sometime in the future, when the only sure thing is that the same dollar they took will never buy what it would when they took it. And if you happen to die before you receive any of that money, your spouse is dead, and your children are over 18, you've just gifted those thousands of dollars to the government, and you had no choice in any of it.

Freedom? Don't fool yourself too much there.

'Europe' isn't monolithic, and its citizens have varying degrees of either wishing for globalism or pining for a more national means of deciding policy. Do not mistake Brussels' directives for the opinion of Europeans.

Very well said. It's amazing when you look at the current system and the system just 100 years ago. I recognize the limitations that have been imposed upon us, and if I had it my way, would dismantle the government yesterday to 1/100th of its current size. But I still think it's the best we got even if it's not the best it's ever been.

Politicians care very, very deeply about democracy, and the promotion of democracy as a veritable sacrament, otherwise their positions would be revealed as parasitic, predatory, and farcical. They don't give two flying rat fricks about well being, though.

I know that to be true, once they get rid of our guns and our freedom of free speech. Then they can integrate america into the world at large. As long as we have those two things they are diametrically oppose to the crap that is going on i europe right now.

Your dollars start to lose value the second you earn them, it all starts with the Federal Reserve controlling the monetary system. Is there a better system for implementing monetary policy and controlling the money supply? I’m sure there is but it’s not nearly as lucrative for the Banksters who always feed at the money trough first courtesy the Fed. Lol!
