In reality, Amazon does not pay a dime in taxes. Every bit of tax paid is paid for by consumers, it doesn't matter that Amazon writes the check, consumers pay for it with a mark up!

Who pays that higher tax rate / bill; Amazon gross profit or Amazon customers? Amazon customers do...every day, every order.
