Am I the only one who didn’t realize we were “supposed” to wear masks outside?

Of course you always see that one idiot jogging with their mask on (why? how?), but I had no idea people just wore their masks outside in public. I have worn mine indoors, but as soon as I get outside, it’s coming off.

And now we are supposed to thank Joe and Tony for “allowing” us to go maskless OUTSIDE IF you are vaccinated????

Give me a break

I don’t wear one inside... visited the VA yesterday and did not wear one... I was offered one twice and just politely declined in Russian both times...

Yeah, frick that. I take mine off as I’m walking out of the store and put it on when I’m walking in in the door, I only do it as a courtesy because I’m vaccinated anyway, but I’m getting real tired of the dumb shite.

I went pickup my son from college yesterday for the summer, and all but like two students I saw walking outside had masks on, even when they were by themselves.

The future is so fricked.

Everyone that has ever put on a mask when it wasn’t mandated by an employer or forced in order to have a child receive medical care is why we are where we are. Thankfully, the two above conditions haven’t applied to me, hence I’ve never worn the damn face diaper. Not once. If everyone would stop playing their silly game and just refuse to put on the muzzle, this will be a distant memory more quickly.

Here in Georgia it’s not uncommon to see people wear a mask during March and April. Because of the insane amounts of pollen. It doesn’t affect me, but it is common long before the pandemic. Now that we are getting to May, I don’t get it. I’ve never worn a mask outside and never will.

Anyone tethered to the CDC website to figure out what their shithole opinion says is a cuck. The only way I put a mask on inside is if asked to and I feel like dealing with going somewhere else. . . and I'm not considering a sign saying "masks required" as a request. And I sure as hell am not wearing a mask outside under any circumstances

What is the real message behind the mask obsession? Is it look at me, I am a good little, compliant, progressive that wants to be like everyone else and comply? Capitulation to politicians and the government seems to be a contradiction in terms for a country that was once based upon individual liberties.

Screw all that. The risk is miniscule INDOORS, unless you're an old fatty with heart problems.

I didn't wear a mask one time outdoors. I had no idea we were 'supposed' to.

Particularly North Georgia where are the southern and northern plants overlap and there is just cartoon levels of pollen. I have members of my family who are allergic & it gives them fits. , but like I said it doesn’t affect me. Interesting I would see mostly Asian people wearing mask because I guess they aren’t acclimated to our environment? Or maybe it’s just more socially accepted from where they come from. Maybe centers of high population where there’s lots of pollution… I don’t know. You don’t have to like it, but it’s the truth.

* and when I say common, I mean occasionally you would see people wearing them. Not like I’d see it every day.

Walmart near me in GA removed their mask required sign out front which was awesome. They were one of the first big stores to go full mask when it started. So refreshing to see them remove all that when Kemp reduced the restrictions a month ago.

Additionally, Kroger still has theirs up. But I got vaccinated recently so this week I decided to blow by their mask required sign and shop without one. Feels good.

That is definitely an Asian thing and not a pollen thing

Some people are going to wear these fricking things for the rest of their lives.

And some really special assholes are going to want ALL OF US to wear them for the rest of our lives.

The tin foil hat part of me thinks the mask mandates are a way to break us into the Asian way so that we are more accustomed to things like this when our Chinese overlords take over.

i looked a tit as this.... guidance was 6' for 15 minutes....

walking outside has almost zero chance to hit the 6' for 15 minutes threshold. also, wind will quickly dissipate the air you breath out, and UV light will quickly kill the virus.

MY favorite is still people driving by them selves with a mask on.....
