Weaponization of Law through deliberately unequal application is the point of the OP

You know what this sounds like? Leftists

Will they be intellectually honest and keep this rhetoric when it deals with lower SES and non-white areas? B/c that's literally the argument Leftists have been making about "deliberately unequal application" of the law for decades.

Do you think murder and rape being a crime is purely a function of "the Police State"?

No. The application of murder and rape statutes can be, though.

There’s a world of difference between blind loyalty to a police state and wanting violent criminals prosecuted.

Fewer laws doesn't mean that murder or rape should become legal

That's why using that emotional argument is stupid and I replied with a mocking tone.

I don't even think you know what you're trying to convey in this thread. Its a shitshow.

Most people go through life without any real personal beliefs. They just borrow them from others.

I get this sense here.

I know exactly what I am trying to convey

People who refuse to admit their hypocrisy will go to crazy lengths to do so, which causes me to have to reply to that.

Just because I don't think Trump committed a crime doesn't mean his indictment is improper in our police state, nor does it mean he won't be convicted by a jury in NYC. People, especially when trying to spin hypocrisy, have a hard time separating a discussion about general policy and the personal beliefs of a person they're speaking with.

Listen man, if no one else understands your point, it probably ain't them. You spend way too much time trying to play two sides.

Or they are NPCs programmed to believe certain things who have malfunctions when a person doesn't respond how they're trained

I am using their terms to make them, hopefully, realize their hypocrisy.

I'll re-state my simple point in slightly different terms. If you support the Police State, then you have to support what is happening to Trump, especially since Trump was a big supporter of The Police State.

I do not support the Police State.

I do not support the prosecution of Trump in NYC.

I did not support his bootlicking of LEO. In fact it's my 2nd biggest fault with his admin. When Trump was elected I had high hopes he'd reign in spending, the Police State, warmongering, and the federal bureaucracy.

He failed bigly on the Police State/spending issues, which are why I can't support him (especially since he's doubled down on the Leftist economics). He had the fortune of not having any difficult war decisions and he did try to reign in the bureaucracy (but I believe it was only via EO and has been rescinded so he didn't accomplish anything in the end. I'm not upset with him about it but he just wasn't effective.

I'm ideologically consistent and don't need to try to create exceptions via fallacy or emotional-hyperbolic melts.

Where is my hypocrisy on this issue?

My stance on LEO/The Police state long pre-date Trump.

This is like the asset forfeiture thread from this weekend where Trumpkins were trying to argue that CAF was a federal issue so it wasn't "LEO", b/c they wanted to defend their local/county LEO...even though those agencies abuse CAF much more than the feds.

Then I linked how Trump spent $600M of the CAF fund to fund his border wall...and the thread died.

What is "both sides" about: fewer laws, smarter cops?

I'm not suggesting you are anymore than people who are okay with the existing murder and rape laws, in spite of the fact that occasionally some people get wrongly accused of both.

when it comes to paying hush money or bungling campaign finance, the law is the law....

except for literally anyone not named Donald Trump.
