I think they fall into four camps:
One, some are virtue signaling...”Look how progressive and tolerant and open minded I am by exposing my kids to this!”
Two, some easily get into weird trends and this stuff has become trendy;
Three, some actually believe it’s good to expose kids to fetishes and sexual deviancy because it makes them more open minded and progressive in nature, especially regarding lgbtq issues;
Fourth, some think this stuff is no big deal; I actually had a discussion with a woman who argued this is no different than going to the beach or a pool party where women are in bikinis.

True story: When "Priscilla Queen of the Desert" was in theaters, myself, my girlfriend and a bunch of our friends went to see it.
She and I were the only two straight people in the theater, yet afterwards I didn't feel the need to lecture my gay friends on the "Gay Community"....

I said I have no problem with parents having the option to take their kids to Storytime, if they wish to do so.
