The deal made Habba, 42, general counsel to Concord Partners, a company established by Herrera’s wife in 2025. The firm has no public presence. The agreement was inked while Habba was serving as U.S. attorney for the District of New Jersey — before she resigned in December 2025 after judges ruled her appointment had been unlawful. Her first day on the job at Concord Partners was in January.
Later that month, Trump issued Herrera an unconditional pardon.

A Venezuelan billionaire received a pardon from President Donald Trump after his family hired Alina Habba, Trump’s former attorney, and pledged to pay her millions, according to a new report.

your point? does this make the fact that this happened not a fact?

When you don’t provide a link and instead only share limited information, I just assume you’re lying and downvote.

And Biden, and Obama, and Bush, and Clinton and on and on and on....corruption is everywhere. It is rotten to the core.
But, let's concentrate on OMB, which is exactly what fraudsters on both sides of the aisle want.
When Dems start calling for the prosecution of Dems and Reps start calling for the prosecution of Reps, maybe we start to get somewhere.

"Any insinuation that my employment—all of which has been vetted and disclosed to the D.O.J.—had anything to do with securing a pardon is false and defamatory" Alina Habba
“Alina Habba had nothing to do with this presidential pardon,” a White House official said. “The Trump Administration has a robust pardon review process which includes White House counsel, the Department of Justice, pardon czar Alice Johnson, and ultimately, the President with his constitutional authority as the final decider.”
Herrera gave a political donation to a Governor that he wanted to fire an auditer looking into his bank. He pled down to a misdeamenor but wanted a pardon to have a clean record. We all know someone else who requested a leader to stop looking into someone and threatened to with hold 1 billion dollars. don't we. He was pardoned of a misdemeanor campaign violation.
