He's already on the plane

And who will he show the ID to, exactly? The courts who can't review such things?

You absolutely know that if a person is identified as a us citizen they will not ship him out.

But your anal retentive arse cannot let this straw man go. As you know the act does not apply to us citizens now just shut up

What can lake chuck fan do if he's taken, exactly?

Id show em my drivers license, TWIC card, my birth certificate, and my tax returns for the last 40 years.

The only due process illegals removed under this act are entitled to is whatever investigation ICE did to determine their innocence or guilt.
Thats it. These folks are not citizens and are not entitled to the rights an American citizen has during a criminal investigation.
THAT is the distinction many are missing.

The epitome of the disingenuous left.

Will die on the vine and reeee till their blue in the face about due process to get these criminals out.

But not give one flying frick that they absolutely abandoned their right to due process coming in.

That's my main problem with the lefts argument in all of these threads. And they never ever address it.

They don't what? Scalia said they don't intentionally bypass due process entering the country illegally?

they don’t waive due process even if they come here illegally.

but also, again, our asylum laws allow you to come here and then apply for asylum.

You would probably agree venezuela is the kind of place people
may flee.

1000 people being charged with a crime in 1 district couldn’t all get their own individual jury trial in less than 3 years?

but nice pivot.

So... everyone waived their right to speedy trial???

No other jurisdiction could hear it

I'm amazed you are both crying in one thread about the need for a hearing for criminal gang members and you pivot here to US citizens imprisoned for years without so much as a hearing

Amazing mental gymnastics tonight

How many waived their right to speedy trial of the 1000 held... I'll wait

And nice deflection on being in 2 threads arguing opposite points

How many had a motion for a speedy trial denied?

Again, go read the Barker and shut the frick up.

Due process is why pretty much all of those cases were delayed that long.

The issue there was draconian bail laws, but show me all of the bail reform threads you started or even posted in prior to (or hell, after) J6.

You have to file the motion. Who filed that motion and didn't have a speedy trial, is the question.

Here is a close example. The prosecution moved to dismiss the indictment for the violation.

Never happened.

Can you show me in the constitution, FRCP or a statute that requires a defendant to actually file a motion or is it actually a right that we have without the need for the motion.?

And I read the case and the defendant waived his right early on and then later asserted it.
