I read that a week or so back there was an altercation between Pretti and I.C.E. that left Pretti with broken ribs.

Talk about slow learing !

But this time he brought a 9MM and a couple of extra magazines.

And I’ll be very curious to revisit this after the next president is sworn in and see how quickly some of you change your tune about what’s legal and what suddenly isn’t

It's what you're hoping for anyway.

You don’t know what I’m hoping for. I’m pointing out a pattern, not expressing a wish. Legal principles shouldn’t change based on who’s in office, but they often do. Observing that isn’t the same as rooting for it.

Yeah sure.

I can't take you seriously. You can't tell the difference between peaceful assembly and purposefully interfering with law enforcement operations.

Your boy and your girl were engaged in a dangerous game.

It doesn’t justify treating protected activity as obstruction by default, and it certainly doesn’t justify building files or escalating force absent probable cause. If law enforcement believes obstruction occurred, the remedy is simple. Give a lawful order, document it, and have proper authorities make an arrest if it’s violated. Anything beyond that is not law enforcement, it’s overreach.

Nobody has been treating protected activities as obstruction or building files on people that aren't breaking the law.

And the "proper authorities" have not be fulfilling the duty.

Obstruction” has a legal definition, not a vibes based one. Constitutionally protected activity does not become obstruction just because it makes law enforcement’s job harder. Inconvenience is not obstruction.

The dude jumped into an interaction between a crazy lady and the LEO. That’s obstruction.

Then he resisted detainment.

Then an undisclosed concealed weapon was found.

Then he reached for it.

That’s when he was shot. He was a legit threat and was put down legally.

If someone commits obstruction, have the proper authorities arrest and charge them.

There are no cops available to arrest and charge them.

What is his right hand doing as he is in the process of standing, right before he is shot?

Dude must have had a serious tolerance for pain.

The meth probably helps with that, but doesn’t aid in judgement.
