It's interesting to consider that, had he taken and successfully disposed of the cell phones of both victims, he would probably have gotten away with these two murders.

It's astounding to me to that he didn't think to do that.

He was convicted in the pretrial motions when the judge didn't prohibit the prosecution from bringing that into evidence. That's why it only took 2 hours for the jury to come back guilty on all charges.
He wasn't on trial for theft and opioid possession.

I thought the judge decided to let in the fraud evidence after the defense attorneys opened the door by continuing to ask prosecution witnesses if they knew any reason why Murdaugh would kill him wife and son. I think he did it but not beyond a reasonable doubt.

Murdaugh is a good example re the Dem Party...once one becomes corrupt, it usually progresses exponentially to cover for previous crimes. Until one wakes up one day and has kill their own to 'save face' and self. "A little leavening leaveneth the whole lump". Cautionary tale.

Two hours of deliberation to decide a man’s life?
How many hours did he give his family members to decide if he should kill them or not?

I bet the jury decided within ten minutes, but the judge was busy having lunch and they had to wait 2 hours to make it look like a deliberative process, when really, everybody on the jury decided in the courtroom he was guilty.

Haha, at least you handled that well. Circumstantial evidence was really damning. The bottom line is his voice on the cell phone video put him at the murder scene about 4 minutes before the murders. He denied being anywhere near there and then admitted that he lied about that. He is also the one who asked his wife and son to be at the location where they were murdered. And then his clothes that he was seen wearing on video about an hour before the murders that day were also never found. He's not just extremely unlucky.

He was sentenced to “six consecutive life sentences without parole”. TPoS seems to have been appropriately dealt with legally (except he should have gotten the death penalty).

What am I missing here?

EKG, love ya girl, but what are you talking about? Both guys were convicted. No one “walked.”

Did AM ever answer to how he was there within 5 minutes of their deaths and he didn't hear gun fire? Or where he was at?

Or why he said he would never 'hurt' them but never said he didn't kill them?

Will it come out he has a separate personality in his psyche evals? Would it change where he goes to prison?

Everybody and cousin Eddie had alibi's so who killed them?

Why he called the cops on the side of a road and said he paid cousin Eddie to shoot him to death? Was he really going to shoot Eddie, claim self defense and set cousin Eddie up as the murders?

It’s more likely that AM was/is a Republican, given his family’s status in South Carolina. A heavily Republican state. So how is this reflective of the democrats?

So far, the only thing the apologists and "doubters" that Murdaugh received justice haven't dwelled upon yet was his "motive."

Even "motive" oft requires at least some scintilla of a grasp of reality by the perpetrator.

How firm a grasp was Murdaugh's after a lifetime of privilege and entitlement haunted by years upon years of chronic, sustained drug usage to the tune of 40,000 to 60,000 dollars per week.

We'll probably see this crocodile-teared lament here again when the Idaho butcher is brought to trial and convicted in about an hour-and-a-half deliberation by the jury.

Again, the psychopath is his own "motive."

The state proved he was there within 4-5 minutes of their deaths, and with the way he lied about being there- only leads to one logical conclusion. He lied about being there because he’s guilty. Sounds like a reasonable conclusion.

They didn’t need the financial crimes to convict him. He convicted himself by lying, and if he didn’t do it, how did he know to lie at that time specifically.
He wouldn’t have lied if he didn’t know when the murders occurred. He lied because he knew when the murders occurred.
I find it strange that people believe he’s innocent and that strangers knew where Paul and Maggie would be, and that they didn’t need to bring weapons to do the job.
The circumstantial evidence was strong even without the financial crimes being entered into evidence.
Also, if I was innocent I’d be telling my brothers to find the killer/killers by hiring a PI or someone who has the knowledge to find people.
This will have the same outcome as OJ and Robert Blake’s. Nobody else will be found to have committed the murders.

The financial evidence was allowed in only after a proffer of evidence and hearing including witness testimony. The roadside shooting was the thing allowed in after defense witnesses opened the door during cross.
IIRC.
