He would never call them with or without the advice of a lawyer. He believes that he is the true victim here. He doesn't care for anyone else except for his own self.
People like that are too arrogant to have a conscience. He could run over and kill a person but blame it on the sun or the break pedal didn't work. It is never his fault his says but someone else.

The detective on the stand looked like she just graduated from college and wasn't very competent.

The irony
I don’t own a gun
But I know to never point a gun at anybody
And if I’m stupid enough to do that
I still know not to pull the trigger

People need to actually read the article. The case was dismissed because of prosecutorial misconduct. The state had been hiding evidence from Baldwin's defense team and the prosecutor in charge of trying the case had not seen any of the evidence in person nor had she read the crime scene technician's report until this morning.
This. The prosecution is a bunch of inept morons like a lot of DA offices are. There's a reason Alec Baldwin burst into tears, this case was real and he had a real chance of being convicted. Every defense files a motion to dismiss but it hardly ever happens because the prosecutors aren't quite as retarded as these are. He's a piece of shite but he didn't Hollywood his way out of this

File a “motion to dismiss” in a criminal case in Louisiana and the judge will probably be a bit incensed with the filing *if an attorney filed it.” Now, pro se motions to dismiss filed by defendants themselves, the judge will politely advise them that there is no such procedural vehicle provided under Louisiana law. Now, a motion for directed verdict of acquittal *upon the resting of the state in its case in chief* for glaring lack of evidence offered by the state to support a conviction, sure, that’s a thing. Pretrial motion to quash the information or indictment on basis of a relatively narrow list of reasons, sure, that’s certainly available. But an all out “motion for dismissal”…..I’m not thinking so.

It was amazingly quick. I'm no law expert but it seems like this would be more a reprimand than an outright dismissal? My point was I don't think Alec waltzed in there like Hillary Clinton knowing he had the system beat before anybody opened their mouths. It's crappy watching a sorry POS celebrity lift a gun, shoot a girl through the heart, then bawl his eyes out while he pretends to hold hands with his fake wife who is fricking the pool boy
