Yes, he's a fantastic lawyer. Before becoming a Trump defender (at least legally) he was mainly known for helping to acquit famous, guilty murderers, and also for securing a sweetheart plea deal for Epstein himself. The fact that he was able to beat a mentally ill abuse victim in a lawsuit doesn't much convince me that he was free from any sin there.
And at any rate it means that when he says "nothing to see here" he's not exactly talking as a neutral expert.

P.S. Dersh was the lawyer who got Epstein a sentence much lighter than he deserved for undisputed sex trafficking of young girls. So that's the hero you're defending here.
P.P.S. "Bad things happened 10-40 years ago" is some Ilhan Omar-level deflection in the defense of horrible people (the worst of whom, again, Dersh got an overly lenient plea deal for).

You know why they get so mad at you with this? Because you’re bringing to their attention that as loudmouthed as they are, that there’s really a whole lot that they’re not considering, because there’s a lot they don’t know. Probably a lot of things that would change the complexion of this thing, and they don’t want the complexion changed. Additionally, don’t expect them to brainstorm and think any of that other stuff through, because quite frankly they’re way too damn lazy to want to do that anyway.

What is the conspiracy? We know there was an Island owned by Epstien. We know there were underaged girls there. We know there were loads of influential people flown there.
Now, the reasoning behind it is up for debate, but nothing else falls in the category of conspiracy

They played a lot of chess. All the hidden cameras at his townhouse, house and on the island were just so he could rewatch the chess games and study chess strategy. I think the girls just served Shirley Temples to everybody.

It’s always gonna be the next most spectacular evidence of the most spectacular crimes and transgressions that nobody’s put into your hands that’ll be what they’re most definitely covering up. If something doesn’t exist, you and your pals want proof and evidence that it doesn’t exist. And hell even then that probably wouldn’t suffice. Does it surprise you that they’re not jumping to those demands, under those conditions? I think some of you are just gonna have to pass away of this outrage. Y’all will be missed.

Nobody with any sense actually believes anyone amongst us wouldn’t and doesn’t unequivocally support the protection of victims from and prosecution of pedos for their actions. To say otherwise is a throwaway statement when there’s probably nothing else better to say. But I think better of you than that and chalk it up to we all get caught up in the moment sometimes.
