If you want someone who will vote with conservatives, vote for Moore. If you want a McConnell lapdog (I don't have a clue why you would), vote for Strange. Jones is a wasted vote.

Roy Moore is going to win but Strange is going to make it close with help from Trump and Pence doing rallies.

It's terrible. They are both bad choices but Strange is the lesser of two evils. Luther is a stock Republican who won't make any waves. He's a country club type and he's out of touch.
I'm a broken record on Moore. He's a total fraud and has played on religion to further his brand. His "foundation" is a total sham used to line his pockets and the pockets of his family. If he was on the left, we'd call him an activist judge. The loon is on record for saying 9/11 was a punishment from God. Moore would absolutely embarrass our state if elected to the Senate.
What sucks is that Moore will probably win and it will only encourage more Alabama politicians to copy him.

This confuses me greatly. Luther seems like a McConnell stooge, but Trump endorses him, and is rallying in town for him friday. I just don't see Trump's agenda being Luther's priority.

I don't care about that sort of thing. Nobody embarrasses me but me. Politicians are lesser people by nature.
I do care about things like immigration and border security. On that front Luther will be in lock step with the GOPe. He's more likely to be another McCain or Graham. Luther sold his soul for this Senate seat and he'll likely continue to sell out the people of his state for more power in the future.
Moore is old, he'll likely only be in the Senate for a term or two. He'll say some crazy stuff, make libs go nuts, and entertain me. More importantly he'll be a thorn in McConnell's side and be one of the few 'America first' allies in the Senate.

I'm not going to fight you on Strange but Moore isn't exactly selfless either. He has literally been removed from his job because he chose to grandstand instead of following the law. He and his family got rich off those decisions. So let's not pretend Moore is some true American hero.

I won't argue against your concerns about Moore. I share them. I have always believed that he does the things he does in order to promote himself. Maybe in his heart he does them to fight States Rights battles, I don't know. Maybe he does them because he's religious and wants to die on the gay marriage hill. From the outside it certainly looks like he does them for himself.
But Luther Strange is more of the same in Washington. A corrupt politician who had one job as Attorney General and sold out the people of Alabama in order to get this Senate seat. I have no doubt of what is in his heart. I have no doubt that he'll stand where he's told to stand and vote how he's told to vote. Not by the people who elect him but by the people giving him money.

Exactly. Moore is a total fraud. As a lawyer I have had a bunch of cases before him. Dumb as a rock and the trial lawyers' biggest ally on the Ala. Supreme Court. He will be in the Senate too. He is no conservative at all. You people who think he is are being played.
