Starting Friday, New Yorkers will be able to pull up a code on their cellphone or a printout to prove they've been vaccinated against COVID-19 or recently tested negative for the virus that causes it.
The first-in-the-nation certification, called the Excelsior Pass, will be useful first at large-scale venues like Madison Square Garden, but next week it will be accepted at dozens of event, arts and entertainment venues statewide. It already lets people increase the size of a wedding party, or other catered event.
The app, championed by Gov. Andrew Cuomo to support the recovery of industries most affected by the pandemic, is funded by the state and available free to businesses and anyone with vaccination records or test results in New York.

550,000 deaths. And what is so unsafe by wearing a mask? Not wearing them has already killed many. You guys act like you’re patriots but you’re just full of shite. And you wonder why you have lost 3/4 of the last elections. Get ready for that trend to continue.

Few things:
1) The Nazis did a lot of shitty things in addition to the Holocaust. It’s the absurd level of authoritarianism that is concerning.
2) History shows that governments who exert too much control are often extremely violent to those who push back against their control.
3) History also shows that humans invent new ways of being shitty to each other. I’d rather the future history books not have a section about how medicine and epidemiology was used as a means of depressing particular people economically.

Lets start with the beginning: Is your entire take from nazi germany that hitler killed 6 million jews?
Do you know how that began? The process that led up to their being gathered up and collected? How about the required papers needed to travel anywhere. The jews were not allowed the papers.

How much you want to bet they won’t be “disenfranchising” their voters who are not able to get vaccinated “because of their plight in life” by requiring them to have this in order to vote?

Once everyone has the opportunity to accept or decline a vaccine, there is no possible justification for restrictions. The vaccinated people are protected and the unvaccinated accepted the risk.
