Same thing happened to a couple we know and they both died. But I’m pretty sure y’all will be ok.

Was this a planned vacation, or a COVID-imposed "vacation?"

BS aside, I hope you feel better soon.

I've been lucky. I refuse to "vaccinate," and I've not been sick at all. I had one day a few months ago that I had a nasty headache and a queasy stomach, but that could easily have been the previous day in the sun with bountiful brews.

So deadly, we have to test to tell us we have it.
Coming to a store near you.
Flu tests
Cold tests
Allergy tests
Cough tests
Hangover tests

Post 4,542 to justify why we need a COVID board so that narcissists can tell us about their sniffles

My brother and I work together. His daughter (no pics) has it now.

One of us is always in the shop, and I told him it wouldnt be me cause my arse will be sitting on the beach and he will just have to deal with it.

Planned. We got here Saturday afternoon.

My sinuses are sore (like I've been snoring hard for three days) and I still feel rundown but it's amazing how fast it's passing (I feel markedly better just since posting this thread).

was 2-3 days after my fever died that I lost my taste and smell. It might still happen. You talk about not wanting to eat when everything taste like nothing.

It came back in a week or two.

Yeah I've had the original variant and the Delta, and both absolutely wrecked my sense of smell, which didn't recover for months either time. After having Delta in January of this year, my smell is only just now back to about 60% what it should be.

It affects people differently. I've always had sinus issues though, so I think the currvid only exacerbated them.

The original variant, I was basically asymptomatic except for loss of smell and mild lethargy. I just kept working through it. The Delta was 36 hours of hell, followed by a week of extreme lethargy. I'm in decent shape, 6'3 and 230, mid 40s. Like I said it just affects people differently.

I'd be fine with catching the rona once or twice a year, over getting injected with the clot shots.

I am seeing multiple people who have displayed multiple infections, both vaxxed and unvaxxed. The new variants are not having the same lethality as the original virus, however recent studies have shown that the R0 of this virus is something like 17:1, meaning that one person likely infects 17 others. This level of communicibility is similar to or greater than Measles which is highly contagious. IMO the virus is so endemic we need to just learn to live with it and stop all of this nonsense that makes people feel like they are preventing something.
Wash your hands.
Stay home when you are sick.
Cover your mouth when you sneeze or cough.
Follow these simple rules and we might survive as a species.

At this point, the fact that you clowns don't have a dose or 2 of ivermectin, is reckless basically.

Feel symptoms, take dose and 2nd day your back up to speed.

While it hasn't impacted my senses of taste nor smell, it's made me completely not hungry for anything (I've had half of a biscuit since Sunday night).

Isn't it a killer diet program? Very efficient and effective!
