Then maybe show everybody why he’s the leader of the free world, able to our aside petty insults, because that’s what leaders do.
Had Bush been a leader in the post-Katrina aftermath, and told LA's Bumblebrain governor and NO's criminal Mayor to either show leadership, or get out of the way, NO would have been infinitely better off.

Bush instead was politely deferent to state's rights which in Louisiana's case led to a far less effective recovery. Meanwhile, state and local leaders tarred Bush with blame for their own blithering incompetence, because that is what Dems do.

Good to see Trump not making the same error.

Fast forward 12 years later and I will admit I voted for Landrieu and not Bush. Ugh.

Though in BR Holden did a fine job when the criminals started to invade the city.

You are replying to a bunch of people here who lived through Katrina and dealt with the ramifications. Many on a very personal level.
OK? Sorry that had to live through that, but we're talking about leadership skills and political cat fights. And these are pervasive one phenomenon, so Living through Katrina doesn't give someone exclusive knowledge and expertise.

I don't know why you keep pointing out Bush and Katrina. What he did or didn't do and what happened or didn't happen, has little relevancy to saying "stop acting like children."

Pretty much what I said above...

And Blockhead Blanco, and Landrieu as well.
Ha! Just read your post. You said it better than I.

Look, I get what your role on this board is, and I admit I enjoy it.

But again, you left out the most important points of my reply. And I was one of those who, at the time, voted for several of the Dems in power.

I get what you are saying but "someone" has to do it. After the responses in TX and FL, the MSM is pissed. They needed SOMETHING to get Trump in a disaster. They had this mayor, who just a few days ago, was praising Trump. The game has changed, unfortunately. In order to beat children you have to stoop to their level. I don't like it either, but that's the environment the left created.

My point, which you swept away to play devil's advocate, gave a very SPECIFIC EXAMPLE of an R POTUS playing nice under very similar circumstances. We all know the results of him playing nice. You know those results as well.

That's funny, she didn't think spouting off her suck hole on CNN was a "distraction?"
Or maybe she just got emotional when Elaine King called Puerto Rico a "good news story" and Trump was talking about how the loss of life has been incredible.

of maybe cnn walked right past the Governor of PR to get a story

You can always count on a big city mayor to be leftist trash because that is where the moochers congregate.

Why does someone have to do it? But even if true, doesn't it matter how he addresses it?

The political circumstances aren't very similar though, despite the setting events being similar.

Regardless, he can fight back, but I don't understand why so many think childish fighting on Twitter is so frequently praised by his supporters, as if that's most effective way to go about it. If that is the case, then Peej is qualified for the job since he would be effective too.

Just trying to mix it up a bit, did you order your official Mayor's t shirt yet?
