Then maybe show everybody why he’s the leader of the free world, able to our aside petty insults, because that’s what leaders do.
Bush instead was politely deferent to state's rights which in Louisiana's case led to a far less effective recovery. Meanwhile, state and local leaders tarred Bush with blame for their own blithering incompetence, because that is what Dems do.
Good to see Trump not making the same error.

Fast forward 12 years later and I will admit I voted for Landrieu and not Bush. Ugh.
Though in BR Holden did a fine job when the criminals started to invade the city.

You are replying to a bunch of people here who lived through Katrina and dealt with the ramifications. Many on a very personal level.

Someone has to fight back against these morons.

Pretty much what I said above...
And Blockhead Blanco, and Landrieu as well.

Look, I get what your role on this board is, and I admit I enjoy it.
But again, you left out the most important points of my reply. And I was one of those who, at the time, voted for several of the Dems in power.

I get what you are saying but "someone" has to do it. After the responses in TX and FL, the MSM is pissed. They needed SOMETHING to get Trump in a disaster. They had this mayor, who just a few days ago, was praising Trump. The game has changed, unfortunately. In order to beat children you have to stoop to their level. I don't like it either, but that's the environment the left created.
My point, which you swept away to play devil's advocate, gave a very SPECIFIC EXAMPLE of an R POTUS playing nice under very similar circumstances. We all know the results of him playing nice. You know those results as well.

Sure. Just keep believing that.
I'm old enough to remember when you were a great poster.

That's funny, she didn't think spouting off her suck hole on CNN was a "distraction?"

of maybe cnn walked right past the Governor of PR to get a story
You can always count on a big city mayor to be leftist trash because that is where the moochers congregate.

Regardless, he can fight back, but I don't understand why so many think childish fighting on Twitter is so frequently praised by his supporters, as if that's most effective way to go about it. If that is the case, then Peej is qualified for the job since he would be effective too.
