is the whole Louisiana delegation needed to bring McCarthy to the Speaker's seat?
They should hoist him in a bateau and declare him King Rougarou.

So I guess the next step is a vote on the rules next week that will fail for some reason and the GOP will resume their role as the Washington Generals?

This is one example of why they get nothing done. A huge waste of time.
This is just silly.
This is entire week was very productive.

*Spoiler Alert*
Nothing will change
Republicans will control oversight, but nothing will happen.
Spending will continue
No bills will be passed
Republicans will be blamed for the looming recession

I am extremely proud of my boss @RepMattGaetz for working to secure the most transformational rules in the history of the U.S. House of Representatives and showing the country what FIGHTING FOR THE PEOPLE looks like!
We’re ready for the next battle.

We will see if this holds up

Just walk up, get the gavel, and go to fricking work. This is all such useless theater.

Walking by Kevin's side Scalise shook Gaetz' hand. And of course EVERYONE wants to shake Anna Luna's hand.
