Side question, if the DNC refused to hand over their server to the FBI, how could it be determined that data was stolen via USB? Are we to suppose the DNC is being truthful about that or was there another means of identifying it?

They knew the date it was taken and the time it took to load. We're reports that only way to move the amount of data within the given time was a direct download to a device. Could not have been loaded off site due to download speed...or something like that. There are stories about it somewhere....
