"Male infantry Marines won't follow female infantry officers" is a shite excuse by shite Marines or people who don't know what they're talking about.

they will follow female infantry officers because they are Marines and Marines will follow orders. that's about all you can hang your hat on here.

I don't need to hang my hat on anything there. My point was the idea that male infantry Marines wouldn't follow female infantry officers is stupid. You're generally pretty reasonable, and I'm glad you agree.

Women Marines have been around for a long time. Most of them look like Chesty Puller, but you'll have some outliers. There was an Aviation Supply Officer at El Toro that would stop a clock. Every time she walked into a room you could hear a pin drop. Her rack belonged on Mt Rushmore.

I was in Anbar and Helmand for six deployments. You acting like a bitch doesn't change that.

Your sweet war stories about all the time you spent at training commands are noted, though.

Funny, DisgracedKasich is attacking you, yet the other day he was white-knighting for Joe Bidens' son's stolen valor....hmmmmmm.....

Here's my issue, from an Army standpoint.

With the exception of situps, the female standards for 17-21 are equivalent to male 52-56 standards.

Examples

APFT pushups (17-21)

Male minimum - 42
Female maximum - 42

APFT 2 mile (17-21)

Male minimum - 15:54
Female maximum - 15:36

They scrapped the attempt at a gender neutral physical fitness test because 85% of females were failing it.

Let me be clear, MAJ Biden is not guilty of stolen valor. Everyone involved with inflating his award because of his last name is.

Nah, you're just being "petty" according to DisgracedKasich and all the other azzholes that white-knighted for Bidens' son...

Sure, the standards are shite. They always have been. That's an excuse, not a reason.

Not sure what else you meant with that title. You also claimed that his award was "spitting in the face" of those who you presumably believe deserve it more.

That is correct. A commander with integrity would have downgraded the award to a Meritorious Service Medal with the comment, "awards are based on impact to the service as a whole, not based upon the last name of the awardee. While my sympathies are with the vice-president and his family, the whole of Major Biden's service does not merit a Legion of Merit award when compared to the overwhelming majority of LOM recipients."

In Korea, I had a Soldier I personally witnessed run out into a 5 way intersection to stop traffic to save a motorcyclist who crashed and shattered his leg until EMTs arrived at great risk to his own life. I put him in for a Soldier's Medal and it was downgraded to an AAM.

That NCO absolutely deserved a Soldier's Medal, but because his name wasn't Bush or Cheney (this was in 2001), his award was downgraded.

Another example- 6 months later I put my Platoon Sergeant in for an MSM as his PCS award and more than justified it. The Battalion Commander recommended downgrade to ARCOM because he was only a SFC. The DISCOM Commander rubber-stamped her recommendation. MG Honore, the Division CG, ignored both their recommendations and approved it as an MSM.

I don't have enough time left on this planet to complain about all of the inflated and downgraded awards out there, particularly for officers.

At least you took the time to correct the "Beau Biden stolen valor" retard.

Judging by the amount of time you spend white-knighting for Biden and his kids on this forum, I'd say that's yet another lie....

No, it's right there on the forum.

You went out of your way to insult those who served honorably while white-knighting for Biden's white-privileged progeny...
