According to some folks in Alabama...

Apparently two radio talk show hosts proposing doing a write in ballot threw the election to Jones.
A lot of folks pisssseddddd.

It's been great. Scott Beason on 101.1 is melting down too. The loons attacking Leland and Matt are nuts. Anyone that votes based on a radio hosts opinions doesn't deserve to vote

The nuts calling into 99.5 today has been very entertaining. There have been some real melts.
Leland was anti-Moore but he was also anti-Jones. He's had times in the past where he made a big push for people to write-in. This race wasn't one of them. Nevermind the fact that if people didn't write-in a candidate, then they'd probably just stay at home.
Amazing how people don't blame the person responsible for all of this: Roy S. Moore, D.A.

He was on WVTM 13 last night with Walt Maddox and was such a condescending prick I'm surprised Walt didn't smack the shite out of him. Shameful he can still show his face in public after his "aborigines" comment.
I listened to Matt and Andrea's show this morning. Matt has been pretty fair and straightforward this entire campaign. He's usually a shill, but I'll give him credit this campaign. Andrea is awful. Her justification for her Moore vote made no sense to me, but it's her vote and she can do what she wants with it. The melts were great though.

Leland also said all day yesterday and the day before that a write-in vote was a waste and never worked.
But AJ and he would write in each other to cancel out their votes.

I will roll the dice and say Rush and Hannity listeners are at the very least educated,
Walton and Johnson listeners on the other hand.

This is stupid. If you take all the write in votes and give them to Moore he wins by like 500 votes. And that’s assuming ALL write in votes would’ve gone to Moore. It didn’t matter.

Rush tends to just want to beat the Democrats and makes fun of them. He does not get emotionally invested in political candidates .
Hannity on the other hand has is head so far up Trump's and the Evangelicals arse that he can see the cavities in Trump's teeth.....he also really does not understand the issues or the strategies going on......Rush does

No, you are not entirely right. The blame should go to Governor Cadaver for cutting a deal to avoid prosecution with one Dirty Luther Strange.
By the way, a sidenote.Mo Brooks is taking time off for treatment of prostate cancer, so electing him might not have done us any good either.

She was terrible this morning. Absolutely terrible. Her "I voted straight party" logic was awful. Her pearl clutching was off the charts today relative to anyone who tried to talk her away from the abortion issue. Andrea called into Leland's show yesterday with some fake story about crying in the car.
Matt has been fair for the most part but he was pretty bad in the primary run off. You can't call Strange corrupt and be upset that he won't appear on your show then turn around and vote for Roy Moore. His "I'll take a little crazy over a lot of corrupt" line should be on his tombstone.

This should be gold. He will be coming in hot AF after they roasted Murphy this morning.

You did one of these...
Voted for Jones
Participated by writing in
Stayed home.
Which makes you one of the 21k people responsible for this fiasco...

I guess she has her own show at 9 after her show with Matt? I only tune in every now and then when something big in teh state is breaking. She went on a long monologue defending her decision to vote for Moore, and defending Matt's and Leland's decision to not vote at all. Her defense of her vote was so convoluted I couldn't even wrap my head around it.

Did he vote for Moore in the runoff? The times I've tuned in he's been pretty critical of Moore, to the point that I think he hates the guy. Surprised he'd vote for him, but he also hates Strange so who knows.

Both Andrea & Matt voted for Moore in the runoff.
