You need to brush up on what non-responsive is. I asked one question and you “answered” a different question. You answered the follow up question. I asked why there would need to be any “but” to his disavowal.
You did not answer the question. The question you attempted to answer (and failed) is whether his “but” referring to calling out the reporter was necessary.
I’ll ask one more time to see if you can answer: Why was there a “but” needed in a response to whether he disavowed the Muslim brotherhood?
