ABC Poll Shutdown Polling: 53% Blame Trump GOP 29% Blame Democrats

My interpretation
Trumps supporters want their wall funding and there is no way politically he can walk away without it. Trump simply can’t afford to back down.

I can careless about the shutdown to be honest just like the other 80% of the American people. I’m simply saying Trump has no choice but to get funding and if that makes you bleed then bleed.

Oh.. the final poll when everyone came out with their true numbers so they could claim they weren’t cooking the numbers and suppressing voters with their Hillary +15 polls in August.

I wouldn’t be so sure about re-election. Never underestimate the Dems ability to lose elections. Still, Trump can’t win re-election without some kind of a win on the wall.

"Blame?” I think Trump is continuing the shutdown by not caving, but I fully support him in that.

You mean the ABC August 19-22 poll that had it 49-47 Clinton or the ABC Poll in early September that had it 50-46 Clinton?

I saw a Gallup poll that made sense, if you read the wording of the actual questions.
Majority said Trump is the reason the govt is shut down, makes sense he said he would take the blame.
However, the majority blamed the democrats for the govt TO CONTINUE TO BE SHUT DOWN.
Basically saying Trump was right to shut down the govt and the dems were to blame for not agreeing to build the wall.
