Like Mia Love?

" This election experience and these comments shines a spotlight on the problems Washington politicians have with minorities & African Americans- It's transactional. It's not personal. Because Republicans never take minority communities into their homes & ..hearts....These voters stay with Democrats... because they do...make them feel like they have a home". Mia Love

How quickly this board turned on Love & began to call her a c**t ( among other names) when it appeared she may lose her seat.

Trump Baws treat her just like the other Never Trumpers - probably better because she's good looking. That's a good thing, because it shows colorblindness - you see all the things some of these folks say on here about Shapiro? Romney even, when they agree about 95% of issues? Those cats are whiter than sour cream.

I sill like her, despite her being wrong on some things. Hell, everybody is wrong every now and then. Obviously, every rational person on the right should prefer her in the seat to McAdams. Race has nothing to do with it.

I doubt anybody on this board ever denied she was black.

The problem is that conservatives actually think electing women will shield them from these lefty narratives and criticisms. The left is getting the world they want, and Consoivahtives aren't getting their pat on the head.

It's actually hilarious and sad simultaneously.

In other news, water is wet.

Had this been any Democrat it would have been heralded from sea to shining sea as not just a referendum on Trump but how the South was turning blue.

Haha, no. Conservatives will ensure nobody is elected that actually challenges the leftist narrative. They just keep calling you racist to see how far you will bend.

Mia Love, a black, female republican that lost in a district with a 13 point registered republican advantage...

quote:

Rep. Mia Love (R-Utah), the GOP's first African-American woman in Congress, conceded defeat in an incredibly close re-election campaign this week. But in her concession speech, she delivered a bracing post-midterm analysis of the Republican Party's shrinking footprint, calling on President Trump and the GOP to pay more attention to minority voters, or risk more defeats like hers in the future. Republicans would be wise to heed her advice.

quote:

Love's loss in Utah's 4th Congressional District came as a surprise to the GOP. The Cook Index gives Republicans a 13-point registration advantage in the district, although it has been closely contested in three of the past four election cycles. Love herself lost in 2012 by fewer than 800 votes on her first try. Two years later, she won by a little more than 4,000 votes for her first term in Congress, and then triumphed by a 12-point margin for a second term in 2016. Trump carried the district on the same ballot by seven points, leading most to believe that Love — who has never closely associated herself with Trump — would succeed in holding the seat for the GOP in the 2018 midterms.

So the lesson we learn here is....focus more on minorities?

This is literally the dumbest republican strategy possible. Absurd.
