It got exposed a while back that a lot of their unique views came from an Air Force base with a population of only 2500 or so people. It's definitely a playground for intelligence agencies.

Digg wasn't great, and it's astounding that Reddit didn't pay attention to what Digg did that led to it's downfall. But after 16-20, it was something that could afford to go woke and just sell all user data to not go broke. Training AI based on user content? GTFO. And none of them care.

Reddit has been over run by AI bots for years, their unique user numbers are a joke
the only subreddits worth a damn are niche groups on specific subjects. I read the subreddits on my favorite pro sports teams and pop culture subjects and those are pretty good.
