Moloch will be pleased. God, most certainly is not.
Leviticus 20:1–5 (NASB95): 1 ?Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
2 “You shall also say to the sons of Israel:
‘Any man from the sons of Israel or from the aliens sojourning in Israel who gives any of his offspring to Molech, shall surely be put to death; the people of the land shall stone him with stones.
3 ‘I will also set My face against that man and will cut him off from among his people, because he has given some of his offspring to Molech, so as to defile My sanctuary and to profane My holy name.
4 ‘If the people of the land, however, should ever disregard that man when he gives any of his offspring to Molech, so as not to put him to death,
5 then I Myself will set My face against that man and against his family, and I will cut off from among their people both him and all those who play the harlot after him, by playing the harlot after Molech.

Time to segregate our citizens by state according to their beliefs. I’m tired of my tax money paying for everything I don’t believe in (free gender care BS, illegal aliens, etc, etc) & nothing I do care about (homeless, hungry, our vets, our kids, safe & efficient infrastructure) Let the people who want all this crap live together & use only their tax money….see how far it goes.

I’m disgusted with all of it…..the only thing getting furious would do is make my blood pressure higher tho so why even bother

How do you know the abortionists aren’t sacrificing their babies to your god “the LORD” YHWH? YHWH isn’t upset about Israelites sacrificing their babies. What upsets him is sacrificing to other gods. You shall have no other gods before him (YHWH).
Exodus 22:29-30…
quote:
“You shall not delay to offer from the fullness of your harvest and from the outflow of your presses. The firstborn of your sons you shall give to me. You shall do the same with your oxen and with your sheep: seven days it shall be with its mother; on the eighth day you shall give it to me.
Firstborn male of every ox, sheep, and human is to be with its mother for seven days, after which it is to be removed from the mother and sacrificed to the LORD.

Old Testament, dingus. Might want to check out the New Testament. Hint: It's got Jesus.

Hey dipshite, the guy I was replying to quoted Leviticus. Nobody said anything about Jesus. There’s no way to know from his post whether he’s a Christian or a Jew or something else. He quoted Leviticus so I thought Exodus would be relevant, logically.
ETA: but here is Jesus in Matthew 5
quote:
17“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished. 19Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Why don’t you come up with a logical, lucid thought and tell me.

I have a few extra pearls to throw to swine, so I may come back and answer a fool according to his folly.
But for now, suffice it to say that abortion for human convenience is definitionally not a sacrifice to the One True Living God.

Curious - do you deny the other gods that “the one true living god” himself declares to actually exist? Just to name a few off the top of my head, in Exodus the LORD says he will judge the gods of Egypt, and in 1 Kings he saves Israelites who have never in his words worshipped Baal, and he references being pissed at the worshippers of the queen of heaven (Asherah) in Jeremiah 7. In Jeremiah 51 the LORD describes how he will punish Bel (Marduk) the god of Babylon. In Psalm 89 the LORD is compared to the other gods in the heavenly assembly in the sky. In Psalm 82, YHWH the LORD himself is eviscerating the other gods for themselves judging unjustly and proceeds to tell them they will perish.
None of that makes any sense if those other gods don’t really exist. Call them what you want - daemons, rulers, powers and principalities, Archons, but the words of YHWH himself refer to these beings, in the heavenly realm, which lord over and judge other groups of people. In 1 Corinthians, Paul claims these same divine beings were responsible for killing Jesus (nor Pontius Pilate or Romans or Jews). Both Old Testament and New Testamenr writers believed in all these other divine beings though they mostly only worshipped YHWH… except all those kings of Israel and Judah including wise king Solomon.

quote:You do realize that all of that changed with the new testament? The temple curtain was ripped. No more sacrificial offering. You know, Christianity.
Squirrelmeister
quote:
Those who witnessed this death, as recalled in the Scriptures, described a sudden darkness overtaking the hill, while some mentioned the earth began to tremble and shake as though an earthquake was happening.
When Jesus died on the cross:
However, one of the most recognized effects of Jesus’s death on the cross occurred within the quiet perimeter of the temple in Jerusalem, as depicted in the books of Matthew, Mark, and Luke. The temple curtain was created to be a barrier between God and the Holy Place. Its tearing revealed that all could come into the presence of God with the acceptance of Jesus’s sacrifice.

Okay, now please cite the commandments that says sacrifice your firstborn to God, dingus.

Lol. Ok buddy. I pray that God opens your eyes. (Assuming He hasn’t- and you are really just hell bent on your own destruction)
